Chad recalled a recent closest-to-the-pin event at the Aquatic Toptracer Driving Range where they brought neighbors along, turning an afternoon of hitting balls toward floating targets into a social outing.
The couple also plays Glynlea’s Jim Furyk-designed championship golf course, while tennis and pickleball provide additional ways to get outside and play. These amenities are already open and part of the everyday club experience at Glynlea, located within the Wylder master-planned community in Port St. Lucie.

A Planned Wellness Club Expands Life Beyond the Golf Course
A planned 10-acre club campus will introduce additional ways for residents to focus on fitness, relaxation and time with friends. At its center, the planned 7,930-square-foot Wellness Club is designed to include cardio and strength-training areas, movement and fitness studios and stretching space.
Locker rooms with saunas and treatment spaces will add a recovery component, while multipurpose space, a nail salon area and an art gallery will broaden the experience beyond a traditional community fitness center.
The result is a club environment designed not only around recreation, but around the different ways residents may want to spend their day.
Resort-Style Pools and Dining Are Planned for Glynlea
Outside the Wellness Club, plans call for a resort-style leisure pool and a dedicated lap pool, creating options for both relaxed afternoons and more active mornings. Shaded cabanas and seating areas are planned alongside the pools. Fairway’s Tavern and a pool-front bar will create additional places to enjoy a meal, meet friends or simply extend an afternoon at the club.
For Chad and Susan, the pool is already high on the wish list. “The pool especially, we can’t wait for that to open,” Chad said.
The distinction between what is available now and what is planned is an important one. Glynlea’s golf course, Aquatic Toptracer Driving Range, tennis and pickleball amenities are already part of community life. The Wellness Club, pools and associated dining and leisure spaces will add to those experiences as the club campus continues to take shape.
Amenities Designed to Bring People Together
Amenities may help define a community on paper, but their greater impact comes from how residents actually use them. For Susan and Chad, the social side of Glynlea arrived quickly.
“I think we’ve made more friends here in the last five, six months than we did years down South,” Susan said.
Their experience points to something worth considering when searching for a new home in Florida. The question is not simply how many amenities a community offers. It is whether those amenities support the way you actually want to spend your time.
At Glynlea, a morning might begin on the golf course, move to pickleball with neighbors and eventually end over a meal or drinks with friends. As the planned club amenities are completed, those possibilities will continue to grow.
