From state parks to farm-to-table dining, residents of the Treasure Coast have endless ways to stay active and healthy while enjoying the natural beauty around them. Now, with the debut of Glynlea Country Club, a new golf and country club community in Port St. Lucie, the opportunities to embrace a balanced, healthy lifestyle are set to expand even further. Let’s explore how residents will be able to embrace wellness both within their home community and throughout the surrounding area.

Walkability Takes Center Stage

Walkable living has become increasingly sought after as people prioritize healthy lifestyles and community connections. Many now prefer neighborhoods where they can easily stroll or bike, integrating physical activity into their daily routines. Glynlea Country Club embraces this trend by incorporating designated pathways for golf carts, bicycles, and pedestrians. Residents can enjoy scenic views of the golf course, tranquil lakes, and surrounding wetlands, creating an inviting atmosphere that fosters both wellness and a strong sense of community.

Tee-ing Up a Healthier Lifestyle

The walkways are just one way Glynlea Country Club plans to promote healthy living. This gated golf community within the master-planned community of Wylder has dedicated over 10 acres of land to create an amenity campus for active lifestyles. Resort-style and lap pools will create inviting spaces for relaxation, while the Glynlea Fitness and Wellness Center will feature a modern fitness center, tennis courts, and pickleball courts.

A unique golf course designed by 17-time PGA Tour champion Jim Furyk is set to elevate healthy living even further. Spanning from 4,249 to 6,755 yards and equipped with four sets of tees, the course ensures both seasoned players and beginners can enjoy a round in a beautiful setting. Complementing the course, the Toptracer Aquatic Driving Range will provide a fun, Top Golf-style experience with floating balls and greens, allowing residents to practice their swing while enjoying the outdoors. With a pro shop staffed by on-site professionals, Glynlea makes it easy for everyone to embrace an active lifestyle centered around golf and wellness.

Treasure coast biking Trails

Treasure Coast Trails and Waterways

Trail systems offer an exciting way to stay active while soaking in the natural beauty of the Treasure Coast. For those who enjoy hiking or biking, parks like Savannas Preserve and Oak Hammock feature miles of winding trails through scrub pines, centuries-old oaks, and lush landscapes. But the adventures don’t stop on land. White City Park provides the perfect launch point for kayaking or paddleboarding down the scenic St. Lucie River. And when it’s time to hit the beach, the Treasure Coast’s 21 miles of shoreline are perfect for morning swims, refreshing ocean dips, or snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs.

Healthy farmers markets

Healthy Living Made Delicious

The Treasure Coast offers an abundance of options for embracing healthier eating habits. For those who enjoy handpicking their produce, the area boasts several vibrant farmers’ markets. Fort Pierce features a lively Saturday morning market along the waterfront, while Sunday mornings come alive at Stuart’s Market on Main and Tradition’s Neighborhood Market. For dining out, Berry Fresh Café, Zest Kitchen and Bar, and Kyle G’s are popular local favorites known for their homemade dishes made with fresh ingredients. Additionally, Clean Eatz provides weekly meal plans with meals all under 500 calories. Soon, residents of Glynlea Country Club will also have access to Fairways Tavern, the community’s own restaurant offering craft cocktails and casual dining options indoors or on the covered patio.
